The dull side light reveals the texture of the ram’s thick winter coat, his only protected against the harsh elements of winter. The ram and cliff, depicted in varying tones of burnt umber brown, stand in stark contrast against the diluted cerulean blue winter sky, a sky that preludes the coming storm.
This painting is on a 36 x 24 inch panel framed in black wooden frame that has been fitted with a hanging wire. The acrylic colours have been sealed with a protectant low gloss varnish.
