Original acrylic painting of a blue roan horse on a 16 x 12 inch rustic wood panel by Western Canadian artist Alexandra Verboom Fritz. This painting features the portrait of a soft eyed blue roan horse under a western bridle. A pale yellow on the horse’s left side shows the backlighting of the early morning sunlight. The grey washed wood is the perfect background for the grey and blue tones of the animal’s coat. The acrylic colours have been sealed with a protectant varnish and the wood panel is fitted with a hanging wire, ready for installation in its new forever home.
